Drinking coffee is always interesting. This activity has been culture across the contries. It something in common everytime people going everywhere with cup of coffee in their hand. Some of them make their own coffee with simpe home coffee maker. Some of them just stop by to the coffee shops in every corner of the places. Hope now regulation will be clear whether they will or won`t let coffee lover bring their coffee cup inside the district.
Having coffee during the travel in the transit district is one of the common situation we saw. But there is another situation when having coffee in this place just make “the absolute worst-case scenario”.
cbs5 reported that A Bay Area Rapid Transit District staff report issued Thursday threw cold water on Director Lynette Sweet’s proposal to allow passengers to bring coffee onto the transit agency’s trains, saying it would cost too much money and result in dirtier trains and stations.
But Sweet, who first proposed allowing coffee on trains in April as a potential way of increasing revenue, accused staff members of coming up with “the absolute worst-case scenario” possible and vowed to continue pursuing the idea.
The proposal was on the BART board of directors’ agenda today only as an informational item, and Sweet said she hopes to bring it back again.
“I won’t let this die yet,” she said.
