Data Employee in Starbucks Laptop was Stolen

Now Starbucks employees` data have been at risk since Starbucks laptop contain information about 97,000 employees was stolen. This happen in 29 October 2008, the company said in a statement on Monday. There are information about names, addresses and social security numbers of Starbucks U.S employee in that stolen laptop.
The statement they made was forwarded in open thread online. Because of this theft, Starbucks coffee chain is notifying employess whose information might have been on the laptop and offering them a year of free credit monitoring service.
Starbucks Corp. waited 2 months to disclose the problem while an internal investigation was completed to try to find the computers.
